Essential Qualifications for Non-Teaching Posts

 

1. Scientific Assistant (Department of Computer Science): (1 UR) in the scale of Rs.9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs.4200

Essential Qualification:  B.Sc. (Gen.) with Computer Science/B.A. (Pass) with Computer Applications/Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications/B.Sc. (Hons.) Computer Science/Bachelor of Computer Applications/B.E or B.Tech. in Computer Engineering.

 

Desirable : Experience of working in a digital/microprocessor Laboratory.

 

2. Junior Assistant : 1 (UR) in the scale of Rs.5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs.1900/-

Essential Qualification:    i.              Pass in Senior Secondary School (10+2) with 50% or Graduate from a recognized university.

                                                ii.             Having a typing speed of 40 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi Typewriting through computers

Desirable                                  :               Basic knowledge of Computers for example MS Office, Tally etc.

 

Mode of Selection:

(I) Candidate will be required to appear and qualify in the Preliminary written objective test comprising of General Intelligence, General Awareness, General English and Numerical Ability of 50 marks each.  The candidate who qualify in preliminary written test will be required to appear in Aptitude Test (Typing and Computer Knowledge Test) and written Essay Test in English.

(II) The date for the conduct of Preliminary written test, Aptitude Test (Typing and Computer Knowledge Test) and Written Essay Test in English will be notified later.

 

3. Laboratory Attendant: (Chemistry Department): (2 UR) in the scale of Rs.5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs.1800/-

Essential Qualifications                :           Matric with Science

Desirable                                   :           Experience of working in Laboratory.

 

4. Laboratory Attendant: (Biology Department): (1UR, 1 OBC and 1 SC) in the scale of Rs.5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs.1800/-

Essential Qualifications                :           Matric with Science

Desirable                                   :           Experience of working in Laboratory.

 

5. Laboratory Attendant: (Computer Science Department): (1UR, 1 SC and 1 OBC) in the scale of Rs.5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs.1800/-

Essential Qualifications                :           12th Class Pass from a recognised school or institution

Desirable                                   :           Experience of working in Computer Laboratory.

                                                           

6. Library Attendant: (1 ST) reserved for Hearing Handicapped candidate in the scale of Rs.5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs.1800/-

Essential Qualification     : Matric/Higher Secondary

Desirable                       : Certificate in Library Science

 

7. Office Attendant: (2 UR) in the scale of Rs.5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs.1800/-

Essential Qualification        :               10th Class Pass from a recognised school or institution

Desirable                       :           Experience in an Office/Armed forces/Training in Home Guards or Civil Defence/ITI or

                                                       trade certificate.

 

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2010) – Scientific Assistant, Lab. Attendants, Lib. Attendant, Office Attendant – 30 years

                                                Junior Assistant – 27 years – Age relaxation as per rules.
